At Seven Education, we have tutors that are able to teach the iGCSE certificate provided by both the Cambridge and Edexcel examination boards. It is an examination aimed at 14-16 year old students.

Science – Biology, Chemistry, Physics (Double & Triple Award)
IGCSE Co-ordinated Sciences gives learners the opportunity to study Biology, Chemistry and Physics within a cross-referenced, scientifically coherent syllabus. It is a double award, earning two grades. Learners gain an understanding of the basic principles of each subject through a mix of theoretical and practical studies, while also developing an understanding of the scientific skills essential for further study.
The course syllabus focuses on important mathematical topics that are interconnected. The syllabus is organized and structured with the following tenets in mind: placing more emphasis on student understanding of fundamental concepts than on symbolic manipulation and complex manipulative skills; giving greater emphasis to developing students’ mathematical reasoning rather than performing routine operations; solving mathematical problems embedded in a wide range of contexts; using the calculator effectively.
The economics course encourages students to develop international perspectives, fosters a concern for global issues, and raises students’ awareness of their own responsibilities at a local, national and international level. The course also seeks to develop values and attitudes that will enable students to achieve a degree of personal commitment in trying to resolve these issues, appreciating our shared responsibility as citizens of an increasingly interdependent world.
Our course is designed for students who are learning Mandarin Chinese as a foreign language. Students are developed to use the language effectively for practical communications. They will go through linked language skills of listening, reading, speaking and writing so as to go through the learning process of the language effectively. Students will also gain insights into the culture of countries where Mandarin Chinese is spoken.
English Language & Literature
Students have the opportunity to read, interpret, evaluate and respond to a range of literature in English. They will study a wide range of international texts such as poetry, Shakespeare play and drama so as to broaden their experience of literature. Students will be stimulated to read for pleasure in literature, explore more universal issues and have a better understanding of the world.
Our course is designed to let students to learn and understand methods and approaches in psychology at an introductory level. And illustrate them through various areas representing the core areas of social, cognitive, developmental, biological and individual differences. Students are also able to develop into a more critical and analytical mind set and equip with investigation and report writing skills and encourages an appreciation of how science works.
Through our course, students will look into the world on a local, regional and global scale, including a range of natural and man-made environments and the processes that affect their development. They will also look into the ways of human interact with the environment, the current opportunities and challenges of environment that able students to have a deeper insight into different communities and nature that exist around the world.
